Dedicated to the memory of John Gwilliams
This site is a tribute to John Gwilliams and a place to celebrate his life and the memories that he has created.
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Warrior, Gardener.
He loved, and was loved by, his wife Carol, his children and their spouses Judith & Dean and John & Shirley.
He adored his grandchildren, DJ, Alex, Daniel and Elena and they loved and will miss him greatly.
He touched so many lives both in his family, his military service, his time in the prison service and in the local community around York, that it is impossible to list them all. If you knew John, you know he would never hesitate to offer to help and committed to everything and everyone that he was involved with, not least the garden at Acomb Library where he has volunteered for several years.
His passing was sudden, but his memory will live on for ever.
